Hand painted metal gecko measures 16" x 24"
This darling metal gecko wall hanging was hand cut from a 55 gallon recycled steel drum with hammer and chisel. The details of the gecko were pounded out into a bas-relief, so that the various details are more visible. The gecko is then hand painted in rich colors. Similar to the painting of the Mexican talavera pottery pieces. A wonderful garden art design.
