Relive the excitement of Haiti's first Caribbean Cup victory since 1979, obtained over Trinidad and Tobago in front of 18,000 stunned Soca Warrior fans on January 23, 2007. Witness your national heroes draped in the Haitian flag receiving their trophy and gold medals and parading triumphantly around the field at Hasley Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain. Celebrate with your real ambassadors. Invite your friends and children over to watch this final game and make them proud of being Haitian.
This historical Digicel Caribbean Cup victory was achieved collectively by players, coaches and years of dedicated efforts by FHF's members and supporters, because of the full collaboration of all Haitians both in the Diaspora and in the mother country. It could herald the beginning of the Renaissance of the New Haiti and show what we can accomplish when we combine the talents, the skills and the strategies of all Haitians. Haiti's new coach, Luis Amelio Garcia, is a Cuban Haitian, born and raised in Cuba of Haitian parents. He previously coached Cuba and Martinique.
